The eKiwanis Club is a local service organization comprised of a variety of individuals who believe in taking a leadership role in helping children and enhancing the community in which we live

All communication accomplished via the Internet through our website, mailing lists, and via web conferencing (video and conference calls)
Provides opportunities for hands-on community service in the Chicagoland area, to meet new friends, and to hone your leadership skills
Kiwanis Service
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families, and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
Our Kiwanis club focuses on changing the world by serving children, one child in our community at a time. Each year, we perform more than 1,000 hours of volunteer service in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. We have service projects year-round! Learn more about our impact here.

What an experience — a little teamwork, a lot of laughter, and the joy of knowing that together we helped pack thousands of meals for kids in need around the world.
Events like this remind us why service matters. When people come together with kindness and purpose, even one hour can make a meaningful difference. It’s a privilege to be part of a group that shows up for our community and for children everywhere.

Kids Above All is an organization that serves children- many early childhood and foster care support programs. They are in need of volunteers to help sort the gifts that are donated for their holiday gift drive. Volunteers may be sorting or assembling gift bags ready for distribution. The organization will be assembling 1000+ gift bags this year over the course of two weeks!

Families staying at Ronald McDonald Houses are often far from the comforts of home, including freshly prepared meals. Through Meals from the Heart, generous volunteers prepare meals that allow families to dine and unwind without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.

Phil's Friends is a non-profit cancer foundation that sends care packages and monthly mailings to individuals who are fighting cancer. We help with packing care packages, stuffing mailings or addressing envelopes. If you have any coloring talent, they also need help with this (great project for the kids).
