The eKiwanis Club is a local service organization comprised of a variety of individuals who believe in taking a leadership role in helping children and enhancing the community in which we live
Internet-based club affiliated with Kiwanis International
All communication accomplished via the Internet through our website, mailing lists, and via web conferencing (video and conference calls)
Provides opportunities for hands-on community service in the Chicagoland area, to meet new friends, and to hone your leadership skills
Kiwanis Service
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families, and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
Our Kiwanis club focuses on changing the world by serving children, one child in our community at a time. Each year, we perform more than 1,000 hours of volunteer service in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. We have service projects year-round! Learn more about our impact here.

We had a blast last weekend wrapping gifts in the Toy Room at Kids Above All! This is one of our favorite projects each year! ❄💖 Gifts donated by families, faith communities, businesses, and service clubs (like eKiwanis!) are lovingly wrapped and distributed to children and youth who have experienced trauma.

Families staying at Ronald McDonald Houses are often far from the comforts of home, including freshly prepared meals. Through Meals from the Heart, generous volunteers prepare meals that allow families to dine and unwind without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.

Phil's Friends is a non-profit cancer foundation that sends care packages and monthly mailings to individuals who are fighting cancer. We help with packing care packages, stuffing mailings or addressing envelopes. If you have any coloring talent, they also need help with this (great project for the kids).

Wow, December has been busy! Earlier this month, we attended the annual holiday meeting for Kiwanis Illinois-Eastern Iowa Division 8.
